₹499 is the one-time Smart Tag price. Under the current model, the finder-to-owner contact on a scan is ₹0. That is not a claim that UHATO itself is free. UHATO does not guarantee an item will be recovered. Replacement costs below are examples only — they vary.

Questions before you buy
Does the scanner need an app?
No. For public Smart Tag scans they use a phone camera. You use the UHATO website to activate, set privacy and read notifications.
What happens when someone scans?
They see a verified UHATO page. Typical actions: Notify Owner and Report Found. WhatsApp or Call only if you turned them on.
How do I activate?
After your Smart Tag arrives (or you already have a Digital ID): Dashboard → My Smart Tags → Activate, then attach the sticker. ₹499 is one Smart Tag. The Protection Kit is ₹1,499 for 5 Smart Tags + 1 Master Card.
Can I deactivate?
Yes. Disable turns the public page off. Report Lost is different — the tag stays on so a finder can still report it found.
