Privacy Policy

How UHATO uses account, order, and scan data. Last updated 12 September 2026.

UHATO operates a digital identity platform for physical tags (QR stickers) and acknowledgement (ACK) workflows. Merchant: Favmoc OPC Private Limited. We process data to run accounts, orders, scans, and notifications.

What we collect

  • Account details you provide (name, email, phone, address, business profile).
  • Orders, payments (via Razorpay — we do not store full card numbers, CVV or UPI PINs), and shipping pincode.
  • Tag activations, item names you attach, privacy settings, lost/found reports.
  • Scan events (time, approximate client IP as IPv4/IPv6, optional finder message and contact they submit).
  • ACK handover records and confirmation outcomes.

What finders see

By default a finder does not see your private phone or address. Notify Owner / Report Found go through UHATO. You can optionally publish contact actions on the tag’s scan page.

Payment processors

The confirmed consumer online payment integration is Razorpay. Card/UPI data is entered on Razorpay’s page. UHATO does not store full card numbers. This page does not claim Razorpay merchant approval beyond what Razorpay itself shows on your payment screen. See our Payment Policy.

Other data we may process

  • Account information and Email OTP for login/verification.
  • Tag and protected-item information you enter after activation.
  • Finder interaction and messages they submit.
  • Contact preferences you set on a tag.
  • ACK information and location only where the receiver permits it.
  • Orders and payment transaction references.
  • Essential cookies as described in the Cookie Policy. We do not claim analytics tools that are not installed.

WhatsApp Business API and SMS OTP are not confirmed live integrations. Owner-enabled click-to-chat is not a UHATO WhatsApp API.

Sharing

We use infrastructure and payment providers to operate the service. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention

We keep account and scan records while your account is active and as needed for security, orders, and legal obligations. You can request account deletion from Settings.
